If you’d like to expand your LexLook! app to include your own reference, you’ve come to the right place! With LexFiles, you can carry your own recipes, facts, trivia, dictionaries, etc. on your mobile phone. Generating LexFiles is free! Best of all, you can share your creations with others or try out someone else’s LexFiles.
What's a LexFile?
LexFiles are add-ons which expand your LexLook! app with more information. Yup, your information will then be mobile and quickly searchable at any time.
How do I create one?
Creating LexFiles is a simple three-step process:
1. Create a spreadsheet with all your information and save as xls (not xlsx). Use your favorite spreadsheet app for this step (eg. OpenOffice, Excel, Numbers, Gnumeric, KOffice, etc). Add your main terms to column A. Use column B to add explanations or definitions. Save the file as xls (not xlsx). For more details, have a look at the pdf: Creating xls input files.
2. Upload the xls file to our server to generate a LexFile. Scroll down below to upload your xls file and submit all required details.
3. Check your email from your mobile phone to install the new LexFile. If you chose to share your LexFile, you may also visit the the downloads view from your LexLook! app.
